Hip-Jote
June 18, 2005

One of the more offbeat offshoots of the 400th anniversary of Don Quixote is a hiphop version of it by Frank T, La Excepción, Dani Pannullo and others that was broadcast tonight on Radio 3. I thought I'd hate it, but it's actually listenable. Who said that high culture and popular culture don't mix? This sort of project shows that the distinction is probably outmoded. To see a video clip, go here and scroll down. (It'll probably disappear from the site very quickly.)
